How to Mute Activity Reminders on Apple Watch

The Apple Watch is the ultimate device for your healthy life. It is a line of smartwatches developed by Apple. It includes fitness tracking and health-oriented apps which are integrated with iOS and other Apple products and services. Announced in 2014 and released in April 2015, Apple Watch is compatible with iPhone 5 and above running iOS 8.2 and above. Apple Watch comes in five variants: Watch Series 2, Watch Series 1, Watch Edition, Watch Nike+, and Watch Hermes. Apple Watch works on its own dedicates operating system watchOS.

You may have noticed that there is an Activity app on your Apple Watch which often reminds you to get up, move and do a bit of exercise. So, if you want to escape from those alerts you can turn off or mute the notifications from activity app on Apple watch.

  • Mute Reminders for One Day from your iPhone

You can easily mute reminders from activity app for one day. Follow the below steps to do so:

  1. Open Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Click on Notifications.
  3. Tap on Activity.
  4. Click on “Mute Reminders for one day”.

Now you won’t get any reminders be it stand, goal completions or achievements from the activity app for one day.

When a reminder notification pops in, do the following:

  1. Using Digital Crown, scroll down.
  2. Click on Mute Reminders for today.

You can also change the duration in which you receive the progress update of your goals. If you want to be reminded less or more about how you are doing, then you can lengthen or shorten the time intervals between updates. You can do this by:

  1. Launch Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Click on notifications.
  3. Tap Activity and then Click on Progress update.
  4. Select between 2, 4, or 6 hours.
