Get the List of Nokia System Apps

While most Nokia phones share the same apps, the preinstalled apps on a device might differ depending on the device model and Android version. It’s always better to have your list of system apps using an ADB command. There’s an ADB Shell command to print the list of all preinstalled system apps on your Nokia phone.

  1. Download the latest ADB and Fastboot tools on your Windows, Linux, or Mac computer and extract them on your desktop.
  2. Don’t forget to turn on USB debugging on your Nokia device.
  3. Open the ‘platform-tools‘ folder and launch a PowerShell window inside the folder window.
  4. Connect your Nokia phone to the computer using a USB cable and run the following command.
    adb devices

    adb devices command

  5. In case you get the ‘adb is not recognized’ error message, fix it. However, if you get your device ID in the form of alphanumeric values, you are good to issue the adb shell command followed by
    pm list packages -s
  6. You’ll get the list of app package names for all system apps installed on your Nokia phone.
