Chrome’s built-in password manager prompts users to save their login credentials whenever they visit a new site. The saved passwords are encrypted and stored in Chrome’s password manager to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access. The password manager syncs all usernames and passwords across devices signed in with a Google account and fills in relevant fields with the saved credentials when needed. However, if you are looking for a way to view, copy, or edit your saved passwords in Google Chrome, the quick steps below are all you need.
Though the password manager works seamlessly most of the time, it may sometimes fail to save or sync updated passwords. In such a situation, you may need to view and copy a password from one device and use it on the other to log in to an account. Editing passwords in Chrome for the web and Android is easy. Whether you want to update an old password or remove a saved one, Chrome makes it easy to manage all your passwords in one place.

Edit and Share Password in Chrome (Android)
Chrome is the default web browser on Android. It automatically saves the login information you use to sign up on a website. Next time, when you visit that website and try to log in, it populates relevant fields with your credentials. Moreover, the Chrome app also allows users to view, copy, edit, share, or delete saved passwords.
While your passwords are safely stored in the Chrome app’s password manager, they are not encrypted. If someone gains access to your device, they can easily view all your accounts and passwords. Therefore, it is recommended to use a strong and unique PIN or biometric authentication for added security.
