Popular smartphone maker Oppo took the wraps off their new flagship offering today. The Oppo Ace 2 features usual high-end hardware with something extra and a first in the world and for Oppo to get excited about, which we’ll get to later. Having said that, also today, we have 3 Oppo Ace 2 stock wallpapers for you all. The wallpapers are of Full HD+ quality, precisely, 1080 x 2400 px resolution. The aspect ratio is 20:9.

The new Ace 2 is the successor of the Reno Ace smartphone. The former brings in the latest from Qualcomm, has a full-screen display with a 90Hz refresh rate and much more. I feel Oppo has balanced out everything this time with top tier specs. Anyways, before we jump into the specs, let’s get the stock wallpapers out of the way first.

Oppo Ace 2 Wallpapers

There is nothing really anything to write home about the stock wallpapers. They look and feel like most stock wallpapers from the brand. Again, the resolution and aspect ratio of the wallpapers are 1080 x 2400 px and 20:9 respectively.

Note: The stock wallpapers in the gallery below are for preview purposes only. Please refrain from downloading the same. Download only via the Google Drive link below in the original quality.

Chipset, display and security

The flagship-grade Ace 2 from Oppo employs a flagship-grade SoC. We have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 at work here. As far as memory is concerned, the device comes in either 8GB or 12GB variant. As for storage, it is equipped with a 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 unit.

Now coming to the screen, all we get is a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a resolution and aspect ratio of 1080x 2400 px and 20:9 respectively (same goes for the stock walls). The display is HDR10+ certified and features a 90Hz refresh rate. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the OLED screen.

As expected, a fingerprint sensor is integrated into the panel for biometric authentication purposes.

Charging, battery and OS

Oppo’s 65W SuperVOOC wired charging tops up the 4000mAh battery built into the Ace 2. Oppo has finally embraced wireless charging. This is the first Oppo phone to get wireless charging. Also, it is the world’s fastest wireless charging phone (40W) (AirVOOC). However, the AirVOOC charger is a separate accessory. The Ace 2 also brings in reverse wireless charging (10W).

Android 10 based ColorOS boots the Ace 2.

Camera

For photoholics, there is a quad camera setup in the Ace 2. What we have here is a 48MP main unit + an 8MP ultrawide cam+ a B/W 2MP depth camera concluded by another 2MP depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, a 16MP unit does the job. Both rear and front cams are able to record videos at a resolution of up to 2160p @ 60 fps and 1080p @ 30fps respectively.
