Just when OnePlus landed in the $999 segment, Cupertino giant has come up with a flagship killer for 2020. Yes, Apple is back with the much anticipated iPhone SE 2020 for $399. That said, we are here today with 12 iPhone SE 2020 stock wallpapers courtesy of Sniper_GER and AR7 from Twitter. We will get to the stock wallpapers of the iPhone SE 2020 in a bit and then deep dive into the specs later. Hold on, also check out the iPad Pro 2020 wallpapers and MacBook Air 2020 stock wallpapers before we begin.
The introduction of the original iPhone SE back in 2016 paved way for Apple to be successful in bringing flagship specs in a compact form factor. Even though initially, sales started slow, later on over the months it was off the shelves in no time. However, since its discontinuation in late 2018, iPhone veterans have been waiting for a successor. And today we have a flagship iPhone in a classic form factor that shaped the touchscreen industry.
iPhone SE 2020 Stock Wallpapers
Honestly speaking, at first glance itself, the stock wallpapers of the iPhone SE 2020 reminds me of stock wallpapers from a bunch of Android devices out there. Specifically speaking, stock wallpapers from Vivo and its iQOO brand. Usually, when it comes to stock wallpapers, Android vendors get inspired by Apple. However, here it is the other way round.
Anyways, we have got 12 iPhone SE 2020 wallpapers. We also have an iPad specific variant of the wallpapers up for download.

iPhone SE 2020: True Value Flagship
A13, WI-Fi 6, Touch ID, Haptic Touch
The new iPhone SE 2020 brings the absolute best in the mobile industry with the most powerful A13 Bionic chipset. There is no denying that this alone is the USP of the new compact iPhone. Apart from A13, for fans, we have the design and build of the iPhone 8 from 2017. Speaking of which, in typical SE fashion, we have the expected 4.7in Retina HD (IPS LCD) boasting a resolution of 750p. This might not scream high-end in today’s standards but it’s sufficient for this form factor of a phone. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Apple has got the best LCDs ever on a mobile device. The screen features the impressive True Tone technology for perfect white balance at all times.
Moving on, we have a reliable Touch ID (gen 2) for biometric authentication purposes. As far as storage options are concerned, a 64GB followed by a 128GB and 256GB model is available. As for RAM, it is as expected at 3GB which is plenty given how well-optimized iOS is as ever. Wi-Fi 6 and Dual SIM (second SIM is eSIM) connectivity are available too.
3D Touch is now officially axed from Apple’s lineup. So, this device has got the Haptic Touch from the iPhone 11 series. Also, the iPhone SE 2020 is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance up to 1m for 30 minutes.
Camera, Battery, OS and pricing
A tried and true 12MP (f/1.8) camera sits at the back of the iPhone SE 2020. If reports are to be believed, this camera module is a carryover from the iPhone XR. However, the improvements and advanced computing of the A13 Bionic is an added advantage, nonetheless. For selfie, we have a 7MP unit at the front of the device. The rear cam of the iPhone SE 2020 shoots videos at 4K (60fps). The front-facing sensor can record videos at a max resolution of up to 1080p (30fps).
As of now, we can assume that the battery inside the iPhone SE 2020 is more or less the same unit that’s in the iPhone 8. However, the battery life will be much better given the efficiency of the A13 chip. Fast charging is supported (18W) although a separate charger can only do the job. As in, a slow 5W brick is included in the box. Thankfully, Apple has retained Qi wireless charging here. Quite naturally, iOS 13 boots up the iPhone SE 2020.
The iPhone SE 2020 is priced at $399, $449 and $549 depending on the storage configuration. Pre-order starts April 17 in the US with sales set to kick off on April 24. Worldwide availability will follow in the coming days and weeks. Now, it’s just a matter of time this new iPhone goes out of stock!
