Apple unveiled the Dynamic Island with the iPhone 14 Pro as a solution to blend notifications and multitasking into the display. It’s useful, but it disrupts the visual appeal of the home and lock screens. If you’ve an iPhone 14 Pro, 15, or 16 and don’t like the cutout’s appearance, we’ve a handpicked collection of 280 Dynamic Island wallpapers that beautifully hide the camera cutout.
As someone who loves both aesthetics and personalization, I decided to curate my own collection of QHD and 4K wallpapers specially designed to hide or blend the Dynamic Island. After switching to iPhone 16, I noticed that some wallpapers looked awkward due to the black pill-shaped area floating in the middle. I wanted a cleaner, more immersive look, without sacrificing the visual interest.
Most of the wallpapers included in the collection will complement the dark mode on the iPhone. Since they are in QHD and 4K quality, they look awesome on Super Retina XDR displays and are battery-friendly. The designs of the wallpapers consist of abstract shadows, dark gradients, top-centered objects, and clever compositions that make the Dynamic Island vanish or fit in seamlessly.
Dynamic Island Wallpapers for iPhone
Our Dynamic Island wallpaper collection consists of 280 wallpapers with a resolution of 1240 x 2778 pixels. All wallpapers are dark, making them battery-friendly. We’ve featured 150 wallpapers below for your preview. Please note that the images below have been compressed and downsized.
Download the wallpapers in full resolution from Google Drive. The folder size is 317 MB. The good thing is that you can preview and download the wallpapers individually.
- Go to Settings > Wallpaper on your iPhone.
- Choose the downloaded image and adjust it so the top portion aligns with the dark area of the wallpaper.
- Tap Set as Lock Screen, Home Screen, or both.
The Dynamic Island may be a staple of new iPhones, but that doesn’t mean it has to ruin your aesthetic. With the right wallpaper, you can make it virtually disappear and even enhance your phone’s look. I hope this collection inspires you to customize your device the way you want it.
