How to Remove Recent files from Quick access in Windows 10

Quick Access is one of the new features that were introduced in Windows 10. Favorites option in the File explorer is replaced with the Quick Access feature. The new file explorer in Windows 10 has two new sub-options: Frequent folders and Recent files under this section. Most recently accessed files and folders will be displayed in the new file explorer instead of the drives which we used to see in the earlier versions of Windows file explorer.

Most of us share our PC with our friends and family members, so the quick access could possibly be a privacy threat. As we don’t want others to see our recently used files and folders, we would like to hide them. In order to protect your privacy, disabling this feature will be a better idea.
